PLOP!

When Caedmon was in utero I dreamed of him saying "mama".  When he started making sounds (ga, ba, da, ma, etc.) I knew I'd hear that sweet word soon.  He even said mamamama for a few days. But never to me directly. Then he started saying "dada" to Chase.  It's so sweet, he even calls him dada over the phone.  It's not so sweet, however, when I say "mama" and he raises those little eyebrows, gets a twinkle in his eye, and says "DADA".   Yes, this happens daily.  

Next came "bi" for bite.  Understandable, seeing as how the kids likes to eat.  Then one day he was at his mamaws and she says kitty kitty kitty and he starts chasing the cat saying "k-k-k". I thought it was cute, but a little miffed that he said it before "mama", when we don't even have a cat!  

The kicker, however, is yesterday when I drop him  sit him in his carseat and say "PLOP!". He repeats back to me "P-p-p".  WHAT??!! PLOP COMES BEFORE MAMA???? 

so. not. fair.

*****I do realize that one day I'll wish he didn't know the word mama.  But that day is not today!
