"nerdy little leprechaun"

we had a visitor last night.  

we found caedmon's cups in a pyramid, with a cupful of candy

 little feet walked up the fridge and turned everything upside down

 little footprints also led us to green muffins! (i hear they were made with spinach!)

 caedmon's wii remotes were "hung by the chimney with care"

even leprechauns need potty breaks!

i snapped this picture of fin at the park the other day and it reminded me of...

this picture of c, at just about the same age.....

you can definitely tell these 2 are siblings!  chase and i joke that we make "matching babies"

so i don't forget...

last night caedmon was in rare form.  a combination of two nights out with grandparents and daylight savings time had him in a serious state of exhaustion.  around 530 we realized he was going downhill fast and needed to crash in to his bed A.S.A.P.!!   in his meltdown mode, he insisted that he needed "fwoot and wheat fins" for dinner, so a handful of wheat thins and a tangerine it was.  we were all sitting at the table for he and fin to eat when he says to me "mommy, you don't like me."  knowing nothing i said would result in anything positive and arguing to the contrary that i indeed did like him would be pointless, i just kinda shook/nodded my head.  he proceeds on with "mommy, you don't like anybody. you don't like me. you don't like mamaw. you don't like ANYBODY", to which i again just shook my head.  he then looked at me wide eyed and said "MOMMY, YOU BETTER LIKE ME OR I'M GONNA BUST YOU UP!"

10 months!

here's finley helping her daddy in the yard yesterday afternoon.
i can't believe she is 10 months old (don't mommies say that every month/year?)

at 10 months she:

• weighs just under 18 pounds (between 10&25%) and is around 26 inches last time i measured (around 5%)
• wears mostly 6-12 month clothes, but can still fit in some 3-6 month
• wears a size 3 diaper
• has gotten her first 4 teeth in the last 2 weeks. (first one was feb 17)
• can stand unassisted
• loves to clap
• gives high fives
• can say "mama" "dada" "bubba" and "byebye" (but like her brother, "dada" is her favorite)
• knows what she wants and will figure a way to get it.
• gets in to EVERYTHING
• finally eating foods, mostly carbs...pancakes, waffles, muffins, crackers
• is the sweetest, giggliest, precious little girl
