my friend sarah had her baby savannah back in august. caedmon was chomping at the bit to go meet "baby sabannah" so i took him over there one friday morning. i asked him if he wanted to hold her and he eagerly said yes. so i got him all ready, with pillows around him, and went to put her in his arms. he immediately backed away, shaking his head no. i asked him "whats wrong? is she making you nervous" to which he replied "yes she's making me nerbous". the funny part was when his daddy came home that afternoon, the first thing he said was "daddy, i met baby sabannah and she nerboused me!"
on labor day, chase and caedmon met roddy (c's pops) at sams. apparently he wanted to get a playdoh set (something we don't have at home...playdoh messes freak mommy out) and pops told him he had to call mommy and ask. he promptly pulled out his mickey mouse cell phone, "called" me and proceeded to have a conversation with me, complete with "uh-huhs" and "oks". he hung up and said "she said its ok" yes he came home with it and yes i'm accepting playdoh messes.
