18 months
On Sunday, Finley girl was 18 months old! She is something else!
At 18 months:
- weighs right at 22 pounds
- wears size 3 or 4 diapers...I'm still undecided on which fits better.
-wears 12-18 months clothes and size 5.5 shoe
-is a PICKY eater. Loves waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, pretzels, and natural cheese puffs.
-LOVES her "bubba" her favorite phrase is "hi bubba!" When we pick him up from school, she runs to his classroom and they give each other the biggest hug. Melts my heart 3 times a week.
-communicates really well without words! Can say a lot more than she chooses to say. Some favorites are "hepoooo!" (Help), "here mama", "uh uh!!" (Said very emphatically) and "opa" (open).
-loves all things chocolate like her mama.
-will not sit in a high chair at restaurants. You would think they were toddler torture chambers.
-naps well and sleeps all night.
-can pitch a a good fit. New territory for these parents as her brother never pitched one the way she does!
-is a firecracker and as headstrong as they come. Laughs all the time and loves to cuddle!

Lots of yummy Popsicles
Last night as I was talking to Caedmon before bed, he told me he was "going to dream about lots of yummy Popsicles. Green ones and purple ones and rainbow ones and lots of yummy ones." You don't think he likes popsicles do you?!

Caedmonisms
This boy keeps us laughing and is sweetest thing in the world!
Tonight he had us tearing up and laughing!
As I was getting him out of the car, I said to him "Caedmon do you know that your daddy and I are so blessed to have you and Finley as our children" and his sweet, make-your-parents-cry response was "yep because when I was in your belly, daddy was looking for a guy to be his best friend"
We have decided four and three quarters is a very sweet age. He is constantly saying to me "you are the bestest mommy ever" and tells his daddy every day "you are my best friend. You will always be my best friend"
As for the laughing part tonight? In an attempt to say what we think was "chicken bits", he definitely came out with something that sounded exactly like "chicken b!+@h!"

Show & tell
For show and tell this week, Caedmon had the choice of something that started with the letter "i" or something blue or brown. Initially, he planned on taking his iron man "pewer" but when I informed him that the other kids may want to look at it and play with it, he quickly decided he needed to find something else. This morning he was on a mission to find something brown. His final decision? A brown football because "this is something everybody can play with"
