Things I will miss

I know soon Caedmon will stop saying some of the phrases and words that we love so much. I know he has to grow up, but this momma's ears sure do love hearing my boys signature phrases such as:
"I telled ya!"
"mommy can you tell daddy..." which actually means "can you ask daddy"
"the weegie" for Luigi
"checker bunnies" for cheddar bunnies
"bitamins" for vitamins

One year?!

I've been waiting to do this post from my computer so I could add pictures, but the pictures will have to wait because I need to post about my one year old!!
Happy belated birthday to my sweet angel!
Finley,You are our princess! I could never have imagined how perfectly you would complete our family. What a complete joy you have been since the second you were born. You make us laugh everyday. You love everybody and get lots of attention every where we go. You are tiny in stature but tough as nails! You and your brother love each other so much and I love watching your relationship develop. Can't wait to see what your next year holds Finley girl!
At 1 year you:
weigh 18.1 pounds and are 27.5 inches (6th percentile for both)
wear the same size diapers (3) and clothes (6-12 mos) that you did at 6 months old!
eat muffins, waffles, yogurt, and a little bit of banana. You love to snack on graham crackers
can now say "mamaw", a version of "grandad", "aunt b", and you've said "pops"
prefer your brothers toys over anything we've ever bought you
LOVE the water
can be found standing on y'alls table or playing in the toilet if you leave my sight
dance anytime you hear music
are a momma's girl, no doubt!
Love you more than life, my most favorite girl ever!!

"sister, your hair is crazy. you look like the grinch"

"mommy, did sister go to sleep? i'm so proud of her!"

"i'm proud of you for making cookies mommy. i think daddy will be proud of you too"

caedmon had become addicted to the wii, so we implemented a token system and now he says "mommy, when we get home i'm going to turn in to a token to play the wii" makes me laugh every time.

finley 11 months

isn't she stunning?  

wow 11 months old.  1 month shy of ONE YEAR!  mommy is in full party planning mode!  

this little angel is so much fun.  she is sweet, sassy and super cute to boot!

at 11 months the little miss:

• weighs 18.2 pounds, per my scale this morning.  that was with her dress and diaper on, so tiny might probably hasn't actually broke the 18 pound mark yet.  she's a petite little thing.
• wears 6-12 month clothes
• wears size 3 diapers
• sleeps 7ish-5ish, nurses then back down to 630ish.  woo hoo!  
• naps unpredictably, but usually twice a day, but i never know if it will be 30 minutes or an hour and a half.
• can say "mama", "dada", "bubba", "bye bye" and "hi"
• can sign more
• loves drinking water from any cup she can get her hands on, preferably her brother's.
• will only eat what she can feed herself.  mommy makes lots of whole grain muffins filled with sweet potatoes, pumpkin or spinach.  
• loves to climb in caedmon's rocking chair and onto his push toys.
• is WALKING!  everywhere.  the girl never sits down.  she walks around and around and around the house ALL DAY.  
• LOVES her boys.  she will hunt her daddy and brother down if they leave her sight.  its so sweet.

we look forward to celebrating little girls first year in less than a month.  we are so thankful God gave her to us.
