4 years ago today...

...Chase and I met for the very first time!

I had no idea when I walked in to Big Time Diner that Wednesday night that the love of my life was the manager on duty.  I never would have guessed that the cute boy who told me he was a twin, but still the baby of the family, would ask me to marry him 6 months later.  I thought I was just going to grab a quick dinner before church!

December 14th will always be a special day to me!  We'll be eating dinner at Big Time Diner tonight to celebrate 4 years of knowing each other.  I'm so glad that cute boy asked me out, even if it did take him almost 3 weeks to do so. And even if it was via text message.  

We are blessed to have this little guy 4 years later!  I can't believe he'll be TWO on Thursday!

Pumpkin oatmeal and 100th post!

It's only taken me a year to get to my 100th post!  

Here are a few pictures of what I get to clean up most mornings!  Caedmon does not eat vegetables so I make him pumpkin oatmeal for breakfast and he makes a MESS!

New Camera

I got an early Christmas present today... a Nikon D3000.  I have been wanting an SLR camera for awhile and decided this Christmas I'd get everyone to go together to get it!  We ordered on Thanksgiving Day from BestBuy and saved $150!  I am so excited and can't wait to get out and take some pictures! Here are just a few I snapped of Caedmon tonight when my battery charged!  The one with his mouth wide open is him singing Jingle Bells.  I HAVE to get it on video b/c it's precious!

Saturday we had some family pictures taken by cute-as-a-button Tori.  Caedmon wasn't too cooperative (he ducks, turns around, looks down-anything to avoid the camera), but she got some super cute ones!

*We kept saying "look Caedmon there's Mickey", hoping he would look at the camera.  Didn't work.

Halloween!

Caedmon was supposed to be a monkey, but do to a forecast of 80 degrees,  I had to come up with a costume Thursday night!  Caedmon has a new love of "nick mouse", so I thought that would be perfect, not to mention easy to make!  So after a trip to Wal-mart, then Target, a helping hand from my mother-in-law, and a trip to Michaels, we had Mickey Mouse!!

We started out with a Costume Birthday party for our sweet friend Walker!  He and Caedmon are exactly 5 weeks apart (he just had his party a couple weeks early!)  

We got to see Barney (caedmon love it!), a monkey (the birthday boy), bumblebees, a fireman, strawberries, a pumpkin, tigger, a zebra, Buzz Lightyear,  a chicken and a mermaid!  It was too cute!

We came home for lunch and a nap (giving Mickey Mouse a break!).  Later Caedmon morphed back into Mickey and we headed to the Methodist church up the road for some Trunk-or-Treating.  It was so fun.  I had no idea how crowded it would be!  Caedmon had a blast people watching.  The best part was when some children started saying "Look! It's Mickey Mouse!"  Caedmon looked around, put his little hands up, shrugged his shoulders and said 

"Where Mickey Mouse go?"
